Because of the importance of teaching children
about money and how to save, the Moolah Mallard Kids’ Club was created
and recently introduced. It is a savings account designed especially
for children. Kids’ Club members receive a welcome letter from the
mascot, Moolah Mallard, as well as a membership card, deposit cards, a
plush toy version of Moolah, many other benefits, including a quarterly
newsletter, a birthday card from Moolah and invitations to special
events that are exclusive to Kids’ Club members. The Moolah Mallard
Kids’ Club is available to anyone 17 years or younger.
The bank has also introduced coin machines in two
if it’s Banking Centers, University in Lake Charles and Maplewood in
Sulphur. Children and adults alike can bring in their coins and drop
them into the machine, no sorting or rolling is required. The machine
sensors identify and count the coins deposited and will reject any
foreign, damaged or counterfeit coinage. A receipt is dispensed from
the machine and that receipt is then taken to the teller to deposit or
exchange for cash. This service is free to all Cameron State Bank
customers.
